Brookfield Zoo.

We love out trips to the zoo.
We made the right choice this time by getting there at 9.30am.
It wasn't crowded at all.
First thing we did was head to Stingray bay to pet the stingrays.
It was really cool.
Jack enjoyed it way more this year compared to last year. All I can say about this picture is...
Annabelle's skirt is WAY too short!

There were stingrays all over the pool, just looking for some love.
Trust me, my kids gave them love!

My favorite, the elephants, and after today I think they might be Jacks favorite too!
Every animal we saw he kept saying, "I wanna go see the elephant!"

A big old rhino.

Jack wanted to get closer to the rhino...

How cute, not so much!
Another of my favorite pictures.

We sat in the front row for the dolphin show.
Big mistake, huge...
We got soaked.
They splashed us time and time again.
I was the one with the camera and I was also the one who was who got totally soaked!

We love dolphins.

The new Dolphin show is awesome.
Lot's of fun.
Another great day at the zoo.

A Night on Navy Pier.

Jack had so much fun riding Thomas.
Annabelle, not so much, but she did it for her brother. After she agreed to go on the train with him, he didn't even sit with her!
Waiting in the LONG line for the Ferris Wheel.
They both did great.
After Annabelle and I spent the day at Great America on Monday she thought this line was short.

Up we go!
I forgot how high the wheel goes.
This might be my last time on the Ferris wheel.
I thought Jack would be scared...not at all!

Me and my girl.

My dare devil daughter.
She has NO fear.
I learned that on Monday at Great America.
It was the first year she was tall enough for the big rides.
I knew I was in trouble, I was not looking forward to the giant coasters.
After every roller coaster she would look at me and say, "That's it????"
While I was feeling like I couldn't take another one.
I love this picture of them inside the tropical garden at Navy Pier.
The water spouting above them is really cool.
My home girl!

On to the boat we go for the fireworks display.

What a great city.
So beautiful.

Me and my babies again.
We wore sweat shirts and long pants, but it was really cold out on the water.

Fireworks!

This is my favorite picture, I love it!
Don't be surprised if you come to my house and see it on my wall!

Can you say COLD!

Another great picture.

Snack break.

Hanging out under the stairs of the boat trying to keep warm.

Trying to lie to Mom and let her think we are not running around the boat.
I know exactly what the two of you are up to!
What a super evening, it cost us, but was worth every penny I spent.
We had a blast, the only thing missing was Dad, but somebody had to pay for our fun.
Thanks Dad, next time lets do it together.

Jacks New Bed.

Jack has always loved his crib.
He never tried to climb out.
When we returned from Florida we had a surprise for him!
Not one he liked!
He was looking for his crib, and wanted it back.
It's night 3 and he is doing great, as you can see!

Fun in Florida.

We had so much fun in Florida.

We enjoyed lots of fun stuff.

Dinner at The Lighthouse Restaurant, it was Annabelle's favorite!

Look how grown up she looks!

Mom and her brats, I mean babies!

Enjoying some ice cream looking over the pool/ocean and watching the sunset.

Ice cream face.

Another ice cream face!

Paradise, this is a picture of the main pool, or as I like to call it the "pool bar" area!

The kids never tired of getting thrown up in the air.

The sound of them giggling after was adorable, as they would shout "Again!"

When Jack would surface, he always had an initial look of shock on his face.

That would soon disappear and he would chuckle.

Then he would shout," again, again!"

Fountain splashing at the main pool.

Sanibel Beach where we collected lots of shells.

Jack hanging out with his cousin Mary Kate on the beach.

Later back at the pool Jack enjoyed a strawberry, banana smoothie.

Yummy.

He would sit at the bar and tell the bartender..."emmm I would like, I would like, I would like a smoothie with strawberries and bananas please."

Jack was called cooler boy.

Every day he would wheel the cooler to the pool for us.

Annabelle and her cousin Michelle were the only two that cared to play in the sand.

I love this picture!

Jack was OBSESSED with what we called the Trolley Bus.

He would see it about 10 times a day.

The resort shuttles people around on it.

We called it to pick us up one day and an airport shuttle bus arrived instead.

We were so disappointed for Jack, who it turns out didn't care.

We rode to the hotel to go on the dolphin cruise.

Later after we got off the boat we discovered the broken down trolley bus and decided to sneak into the garage area to snap a few pictures.

Jack was so excited, while mom and dad were afraid and just wanted to get out of there.

This is the pier by the main pool.
A few nights we were out there and we could see a bunch of dolphins.
The were swimming around, giving us lots of opportunity to snap pictures.
More jump fun, at our pool this time.

Annabelle who is also know as a little dolphin.
She loves to swim and play in the water.

One night we drove to Ft.Myres beach for a sunset walk.
At the beach we found this scary guy!

Jeff and Jack collecting shells on the beach.

Annabelle wrote her name in the sand several times before I actually got to take a picture of the final product, because the waves kept erasing it.

Jack loves to be swung between two people.

Annabelle can't even believe we let her have a coke!

Mary Kate, Michelle, Annabelle and Jeff went para sailing.
They had so much fun.
More pictures to follow!

Jeff and I before we went out to dinner With Aunt Madonna and Nancy for a yummy dinner.
Group shot.

All our cousins.

Our family.
What a shame jack is not looking!

I like to call Jack "Scuba Steve" in this picture.

Jack passed out from time to time out of total exhaustion.Scuba kids.

Dolphin Cruise.

There were so many dolphins we didn't know what way to look.

Jack wasn't always happy that he was not aloud walk around the boat alone.

Dolphins!

Our last night.
Out to dinner again at the Lighthouse.
Annabelle likes to carry a purse when we go out to dinner.

Daddy and his Princess.

We had such a fabulous time in Florida.
We enjoyed good family,good friends,
great food, lot's of fun and some thrills too.
It was hard to come home.
We are back on track now and looking forward to our next vacation, when ever it may be!
