West Beach.

What a beautiful sky to wrap up a great day we had at the beach.
But let me start from the beginning.
We went to the beach today to hang out with Jeff's family and Annabelle new bff Frankie.
The girls posing for a picture.
Jack and Annabelle hunting for shells.

Is that a shell I see????

Annabelle, covered in sand from head to toe, digging a hole to bury herself in.

The final product, Annabelle even more sandy.
It didn't bother her.

Nice!
Every time she laughed the sand around her belly cracked.
She loved it.
Me, I hate the sand and couldn't imagine anything worse...

Frankie and Olivia decided to join in the fun.
Jack decided to help bury them, he wanted nothing to do with getting buried.
I don't blame him!
Having fun in the sand, digging and building sand castles.
The castles didn't last long because Jack loved stomping on them.

Jack showing off his blue tongue.
It was a mixture of blue juice and a blue ring pop.
It was a blue day, blue sky, blue water, blue juice and blue candy.
They loved it all!
F.Y.I. ring pops are not a good idea when sand is involved!
Later, full of sugar, Jack decided to relax for maybe 15 seconds.
Long enough for me to take a picture of how cute he looked lounging in the shade.

Then it was time for more water fun.
The older girls loved being in the water, while Jack was happy to be by the water.
I love this picture!
He still had to wear his goggles!
He was caught by surprise when this big wave reached his feet.
He liked it, but wouldn't admit it if you asked him!
Later on our way to the car, they spotted a icee stand.
As if they hadn't already had enough sugar...
They each had and icee.
Annabelle like crossing her eyes for pictures lately...

Cute picture!

Great sunny day at the beach.
Lots of sand, lots of fun and even more sugar was had by all.
I hope we get to do it again, at least once before school starts.
