Bitter Sweet thoughts

Well I have some bitter sweet thoughts today. While I am grateful that Grand Pa was here for three weeks, he will be leaving in two days, and we will be sad to see him go. He has been a great help and will be missed.

Annabelle will always remember he bought her her first pair of Hannah Montana p.j.s. While her Mom will always remember they were polyester!!
We also have sweet thoughts about our upcoming trip to CA to visit our good friends Pete , Bobbi & Drew(Jeff's god child) and also to Disneyland, Mom feels bitter about the fact that the trip coming closer means that she will be returning to work soon. Why can't we live on love. Wouldn't it be nice if love paid the mortgage and school tuition!! Something to think about!

A Night with Family

Fun in the snow. While Annabelle thought it would be fun, after 20 minutes she was done... Meanwhile back at the ranch... Dad and Jack a.k.a my Gap Boys were forever cool!!!

Jack couldn't take his eyes off his Mommy. I think he was afraid I was going to let him go! No chance!

Notice that Annabelle still has a dirty face after the fact!! It's hard to get her clean when you are holding a baby.

When the weather out side is cold and snowy sometimes after my lunch I like to take a little nap in my big sisters bed. It's just so cozy. I imagine that in future years I will be spending more and more time in there when she is not around. SHH! don't tell her!

Poor Bambelle, she had been complaining of a tooth ache for a couple of days. Mom and Dad thought it was a loose tooth. We finally took her to the dentist and it turns out that the tooth he filled a couple of months ago had an infection. He had to pull it. Lots of pain. Mom couldn't handle it, so Dad took over. She was happy to experience her first lost tooth and the whole Tooth Fairy thing...just not with all the pain! Thats O.K. the Tooth Fairy was very good to her! Even though at bed time she was still miserable she was smiling next mornimg!!

No Room At The Inn

Well Saturday night Aunt Maureen was kind enough to babysit so that Jeff and I could take my Dad out for a nice dinner. It was great. We got home at 9p.m. and played poker for a few hours. Fun! (I won!) Thats why it was fun! At 1 a.m. it was bed time. Jeff and I decided that one of us would stay up to feed Jack as he had been sleeping since 8p.m. and was sure to wake up any minute. Long story short by 2:20a.m. I couldn't stay awake any longer. I went to go to bed and discovered my king size bed was full. I need to super size my bed. Is that possible??? Everybody looked so cozy I decided to take the couch. Jack woke up at aprox 3a.m. I filled his belly and quickly jumped into my bed to finally sleep. Happy Days!

Mr.Winter Has Arrived!

Well Grand Pa arrived just in time for the 5 degree weather. I know he knew it would be cold, but had no idea!! He quickly visited Eddie Bauer and stocked up on the essentials( Hat, Scarf, gloves, and even a warmer jacket)...Now if he could just find something to stop his glasses from fogging up everytime he comes inside! Annabelle loves him being here. She gets lots of fresh air, Dunkin Donuts, and basically what ever she wants!! I have enjoyed it too as I now have a super nanny who gets her up,dressed, fed and to school in time. All while I am still sleeping( recovering from the 5a.m. feeding!) Loive it!

No pictures today, but I am feeling especially thankful for my family. I am so in love with each and every family member, and can't decide who I love more. The reason I can't decide is because I love each of them in different ways. I have realized that you can never have too much love...It just comes in different ways... I am glad that I have all the ways. : Leadon

Baby Jacks first portrait

Look at my baby smile!! A friend with a baby the same age posted pictures of his first smile and it was so cute. I went to work and took about 50 pictures and finally caught this one. Every babies first is special to their parents but this one is special and cute too!

Our house is crazy, especially at bed time. I have a five year old crying because she has to go to bet while Jack gets to stay up. Then she doesn't want to sleep in her room. Sometime I wonder why we don't buy a one bedroom house, cause thats all that ever gets used in our house! Thank God for king size beds! On this particular evening I gave in, and we all went to bed at the same time. Jack fell asleep on his sister, who then fell asleep. Precious moments. It times like these that help you keep your sanity. No matter how crazy my day was this picture makes me forget. I may have been having a nervous breakdown at lunch but it's forgotten now!

Happy 2008

Hello to everyone who has taken time to check out our blog spot. I have wanted to do this for a long time but always thought it was way too complicated for me to figure out. We will see how far I get!!
Well, alot has changed in the Murry family in the last two months. I went from being a working mother with a very grown up Kindergartener to a mother of two. Jack Ryder arrived at 6:50 pm on Thursday November 8th. Our lives have changed forever. We can't remember what life was like before his arrival and don't understand how we lived with out him. Our family is still adjusting to our precious arrival but we enjoy every minute of it. I will try to keep this spot updated with our most recent family news and events. Happy 2008 to everyone. We hope you check out our spot often.
