Soccer, Soccer, Soccer!

Incarnation Chargers posed for a picture before the big game. What a great team!
During the game Jack tried to give his peep a kiss.
He was dissed!
She wasn't in the mood!

The team worked hard.
They gave it their all, sadly we lost!

They showed great sportsmanship and congratulated the winning team.

Joey enjoyed his sports drink after the game.

Water Park Fun.

Annabelle enjoyed a day of swimming at a friends birthday party.
She loved getting soaked.

Some of Annabelle's class mates.
Danielle, Sara and Riley.

Friday Night Fun!

On Friday night we hung out with our good friends The Canner's.
We went to dinner and later to The Plush Horse for some good ice cream. America's next top model!
One scoop is never enough!
Annabelle went for mint, while Riley had chocolate.

At dinner Jack was very happy to be sitting next to his girlfriend Molly.
He was his usual funny self!
Jack enjoyedeverybody's ice cream.
He sampled all of them.

Happy Jack and his best friend Dad!

Annabelle took a cute picture.
Go Cubs!

More please!

Great food, even better dessert.
Good company, a great evening all around!

Saturday Night With Friends, For Friends.

On Saturday night I went to a benefit for a friend of mine who has cancer.
The evening was a great success, lots of money was raised, and a good time was had by all.

I enjoyed hanging out with my old roomies Gillian and Teresa.
It felt like the good old days, except I had to get up with two children the next morning!!

We were hoping to win the car behind us in this picture!

Hanging with my favorite Aunt was fun too.

It was a great evening!

Easter Fun.

Jack loved waking up to Easter Bunny gifts.
Annabelle slept late because she was not feeling well.
He loved all the balls and bats he got.
He was very happy with the hot wheel cars he got.
He knew what to do instinctively, he put them on the floor and said brumm.
Later we went to The Canner's for brunch and an Easter egg hunt.
It was so much fun, the Easter Bunny showed up.
Jack wasn't sure, he looked but wouldn't get very close.

He couldn't wait to get off the deck, so he scooted his way down safely!

Annabelle was a crazy lady, looking all over for eggs!

Jack took his time, and honestly, he threw more eggs away than he kept.

Happy Annabelle, even though she wasn't feeling good.

A big close up.
Look at those teeth...one word...BRACES!

Jack got tired of trying to keep up with the big kids, so he took a break and posed for some pictures with Dad.

Later, after Jack napped, we went to our cousins house for dinner.
It was lots of fun.
Jack felt like a King as he threw his food off his tray.
Also, as you can see, he is teething.

After dinner it was Easter Egg hunt #2.
Jack took a really cute picture with John.
Annabelle let me take a picture too.
Not so cute!

Annabelle, Kate, Grainne acting silly.

Jack took some time to rest. Egg hunting is hard work.
Then it's back to work.
Later he played hurling.
I think he might really enjoy this sport.
After spending time with The Kelly's we went to the Scatenas, our cousins on Jeff's side.
They had ducks and chicks.
Jack loved them, Annabelle too!
Annabelle wanted to take them home with us.
No way...

HAPPY EASTER!

Lake Catherine

Last weekend was so nice.
We decided to go for a walk at Lake Catherine, without the stroller!
Annabelle loved looking through the telescope! Jack wanted to walk, but the problem was, he kept walking in the wrong direction!
So Daddy carried him for a while.

Jack got a hold of Daddy's glasses and thought he was so cool.

We took many rest stops on our very long walk around the lake.

Annabelle and Jack loved watching the ducks.
Buddy Boy (our dog) went in the lake.
We are not sure why, as he is probably more afraid of the ducks, than the ducks are of him!

I think we spent about 20 minutes in this spot and all we did was watch ducks.
Oh! and stop Jack from running into the water!

After walking about a mile Jack was done, so Daddy carried him on his shoulders.
All four of us took a great nap that day!!!
