Coco Key Water Resort

Long weekend...lets go have some fun! So we packed our bags and headed to the keys!!!
(In Arlington Heights!)
Once we arrived the kids couldn't wait to get to the water park!
It's so odd to be in swim suits and look out the window at all the snow. Burr... Lots of fun was had by all in the water.
Mommy gladly took the role as photographer!
Jack, Dad, and Annabelle enjoyed the lazy river over and over again.

Jack was content sitting on top of Dad and not getting too wet. Smart boy!

Later he got all the way in the water but wasn't too sure if he should laugh or cry.

He stayed in for a while but then started grabbing for the edge.
It was late and he was done.

Mommy changed him into some cozy jammies and he was so happy.
He was 100% ready for bed.
Content to sit pool side and watch everyone else splash around.
Dad and Annabelle were having so much fun that Jack and I ditched them and headed for bed.
The next day we headed for the arcade where there was lots more dry and warm fun to be had.
Jack enjoyed all the games even with out tokens!

He didn't follow any rules and did exactly what he wanted, and had a blast too!

Annabelle on the other hand was all about the tokens and tickets!

Her most favorite game was with out a doubt Deal or No Deal.

Jack enjoyed stealing the basket ball from the hoops game and running away with it!

We had a great time but were all tired and ready to go home.
O.K. well if the truth be told Mommy and Daddy were ready!
Jack was almost too tired to eat Cheetos's in the car on the way home.
We look forward to good afternoon naps.
Sadly all we have to look forward to now is school and work tomorrow!
Ah well... it was fun while it lasted!

Hanging Out With Friends.

Jack got hang out with his buddy Jack.S. on Saturday evening.
They had lots of fun and shared lots of nookies and sippy cups.
The boys looked cozy in their jammies right before The Schusslers left.
Nice face Jack.S.!
The boys had fun while the big sisters Lily and Annabelle played in the big girl play room.
I think that Lily met her sugar quota for the year!
Sorry Michelle!
Mom and Michelle had fun too and we probably had our calorie quota for the entire week!
But it was all delicious and well worth it.
We had fun, glad you stopped by!

Gotta Get My Milk

I need it, if Dad has it, I want it!and I get it!

This Is How I Roll!

I pretend that I am only climbing up on the chair, and playing with something! Then I act like I am doing nothing when my mom comes in the kitchen.
So... she leaves again telling me to stay put.
Then she comes back and ..taa daa!

Now I'm there, and so close to the light!
You know I have to play with it!
Busted! and it's all over.

Gotta love one year olds.

Cold Snow= Hot Bath.

After way too much time spent out side in the cold snow, it was time for a hot bath!We like to do fun things with Annabelle's hair to make Jack laugh.
Jack was just about to kiss her back when he found a "nookie" floating in the water!
He forgot he threw it in there while the water was running.
Too cute. Although I have to say, my little girl is growing up too fast.
She had rules and stipulations about posting this picture on our Blog!

Gotta Love The Snow!

Jack LOVED being out side again. He was so happy.
Annabelle was all about the snow.
She didn't know what to do first!

She really wanted to make snow balls for a fight but Jack wanted to walk up and down the sidewalks that had been shoveled.
He didn't like walking in the snow that was almost up to his knees.
He fell over too much and decided he wasn't hungry for any more snow!

He liked to stop at the bushes and pull the branches so the snow fell off them.

Annabelle made some snow angels.

They threw some snow balls. Jacks kept sticking to his mitten!

Annabelle walked half a block on her knees to see what it is like being as small as Jack.

Jack got some falling snow flakes in his eye!

Annabelle tried hard to get Jack into the deeper snow, but it didn't work!
Usually she would yell "Come and get me" and Jack would run to get her.
Not when there was deep snow between them!

He just looked the other way and began walking the block again!!

After a while we decided to go to the back yard and see what we could do there.
We discovered it's fun to slide down a slide full of snow.

They did it over and over again, until Jack was tired getting pulled up the slide.
He tried to make a run for it but as you will see wasn't successful!

Yep! Another face full of snow! Poor baby!

It was around that time I decided our snow day was over, it was time for some hot coco.
"Help me Mama!"
